Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival

The Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival celebrates small farms and natural fiber with over 70 vendors offering fleece and yarn, fiber animals, handspinning and fiber crafting equipment and supplies, handcrafted wool items and local meat and cheese. The Festival includes contests, fiber arts classes and demonstrations, shepherd workshops, herding and shearing demos, fleece sale and more set against a backdrop of rolling hills during the peak of Vermont fall foliage.
Alpaca Harvest Fest

Help EasyGo Farm and Alpacas of Oregon celebrate our bountiful harvest of colorful alpacas and beautiful fleece. Shop for sweaters, gloves, scarves, and more - this is your chance to do some early holiday shopping. Knitters and handspinners (and those with fiber artists on their gift lists) will find fleece and yarn, some dyed and some in one of the alpaca’s many natural colors. Enter the drawing for a gift certificate in the Barn Store. Get up close to the alpacas - hand feed them and meet the females, herdsires, and less expensive alpacas for fiber artists, companions, pasture mowers... Learn to felt an alpaca scarf or other item. Need a unique way to entertain out-of-town company? Head for the Open Alpaca Barn in Sherwood, Oregon, hosted by EasyGo Farm and Alpacas of Oregon at 21345 SW Aebischer Road, just off Hwy 99. Visitors can meet the alpacas and their summer babies up close, then shop in the Barn Store. There will be fleece for hand-spinners, yarn for knitters, plus hats, gloves, sweaters, teddy bears, and more.
