You are invited to Renewal 2017 Fibre Arts Shindig sponsored by Saskatchewan Weavers and Spinners and hosted by Regina Weavers and Spinners Guild. Held in Regina May 5-7 2017. We are fortunate to have both Terri Bibby and Carol James as quest instructors. Terri will be giving a one day workshop in Saori Weaving. Carol will be teaching a one day workshop in Sprang. We also have half day workshops in Natural Dying, Tapestry, Double Knitting and Fleece Judging. Plus we have many other activities planned. Our theme this year is Renewal. We hope you can come, renew some old friendships, make new friends, learn lots and return home renewed with many ideas to continue your craft of weaving, spinning and felting. Midatlantic Fiber Association's "a Kaleidoscope of Color"

The Mid-Atlantic region’s premier fiber art workshop weekend hosted by the MidAtlantic Fiber Association (MAFA). Dive deep into one of 40 workshops in weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, and other fiber-related arts, meet other creative people and be inspired by their ideas and projects over the two-and-a-half-day conference. The MAFA conference will begin with a keynote by Madelyn van der Hoogt, followed by a juried fashion show and reception. Other highlights include a sample exchange, open studio visitation of classrooms and the Marketplace, where all activities–access to quality fiber and equipment suppliers, educational seminars, the Fashion Showcase, knit- and spin-ins and more–are open to the public and free.
