Outreach:
In August we sponsor the Fiber Arts booth at Island County Fair in Langley. This is our opportunity to show our work, demonstrate to the public, and promote the crafts of weaving, spinning, felting and basket making. In November we have a large sale of our member's work. Each April the Guild sponsors a Spin-in featuring a guest instructor. This popular event, which draws participants from Oregon and British Columbia as well as Washington, provides exchange of information, hands-on experience with different wheels, and an opportunity to purchase supplies from many vendors.
Misc:
150 members.
