How to Join:
Any person will become a member upon the payment of annual dues. First year dues are $23.00, following years $20.00.

Focus Areas:
To promote, encourage, and improve the art and craft of weaving and spinning. Offer classes, demonstrations and workshops of these crafts to the community. Provide and opportunity for members to share knowledge, skill and ideas toward achieving the highest possible standards of excellence. Maintain a current and extensive collection of literature and other material relating to weaving, spinning and dyeing available to all members. Maintain a scholarship fund to encourage members in the pursuit of fibre arts
Outreach:
Fiesta Annual Fibre - held mid-September, sale of weaving and spinning items by local suppliers to members and public.
Annual Fibre Flare - held mid-November, sale of members' own weaving and spinning produced throughout the past year
PAWS, in conjunction with the city of Surrey and the Surrey Museum, is in the process of restoring a Jacquard Loom and hope to be weaving on it by the summer of 2000.
Members of PAWS will try to provide workshops demonstrations and lectures when requested by any organizations who express an interest.
