How to Join:
Membership dues are $25 per year. The Guild meets from September to June. Contact Membership Chairperson on the website or attend a meeting.
Meetings:
The Guild meets on the second Monday of the month at 9:30 am. The meeting location is Trinity Episcopal Church, 845 Chestnut St, Escondido, CA.
There is also an evening meeting on the fourth Tuesday evening from January through October. Meetings are in members' homes.
Focus Areas:
Various areas of fiberarts including weaving, spinning, basketry, braiding, dyeing, felting, and surface design. We welcome all levels of expertise, from beginners to professionals, and enjoy learning from each other as well as from nationally known speakers at our meetings and workshops.
Outreach:
Education and Outreach is an integral part of the Palomar Handweavers' Guild. Members are encouraged to participate in the San Diego County Fair, Rancho Buena Vista Adobe, Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, Guajome Adobe, First Night in Escondido, and the Escondido Public Library venues. The best part of the Palomar Handweavers' Guild are the friends we make while sharing our interest in fibers.
