How to Join:
Membership runs from September to June. You may join by sending $20 to HLO, c/o Dorothy Dinsmoor, 2013 Windmill Rd., Edmond, OK 73013

Meetings:
HLO meets the second Thursday of each month from Sept. thru June at the City Arts Center, located on the Fairgrounds, 300 Pershing Blvd, OKC, OK. Meeting time is 7:30.

Focus Areas:
HLO is made up of individuals interested in sharing knowledge and promoting appreciation of all aspects of fiber art, including weaving, spinning, embroidery, basketry, felting, papermaking, dyeing, rug hooking, lacemaking, and quilting.

Outreach:
In 1978 the league initiated Fiberworks, a major juried fiber art show featuring Oklahoma artist. Held each year, Fiberworks is now a national respected fiber show. Also demonstrations are given at numerous arts and/or crafts events by HLO members, and the group sonsors periodic workshops featuring well-known artists and educators from across the country.
