How to Join:
Annual dues are $12.50.
Meetings:
Meetings are held monthly except July and August, on the second Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. Most meetings are held at Ilwaco Heritage Museum in Ilwaco, Washington. September potluck and Christmas Social are usually held in a private home. Most years an all-day summer workshop is held in July or August. A spinning group within the guild also meets monthly.
Focus Areas:
Clatsop Weavers strives to provide an environment for weavers in which they can perfect their skills, learn new ones, and exchange ideas. Members of the guilds come from the North Oregon Coast and South Washington Coast. Anyone interested in weaving and/or spinning may join.
Outreach:
The Clatsop Weavers take part in many regional fairs and festivals by arranging demonstrations and exhibits of weaving and spinning. We work with the Ilwaco Museum in some of their activities, as well as with children's groups.
