Central Iowa Knitters Inc. meets in the Courtyard Hall room at Valley Church, 4343 Fuller Road, in West Des Moines from 7-9 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month except July.

Central Iowa Knitters Inc., P.O. Box 65871, West Des Moines, Iowa 50265-0871, is the fastest growing knitting "guild" in Iowa and the largest in central Iowa. We are a group of fun-loving and forward-thinking knitters of all skills and ages. CIK meets in the Courtyard Hall room at Valley Church, 4343 Fuller Road, in West Des Moines from 7-9 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month except July. The club offers monthly lectures and workshops for all experience levels, and encourages members to use their skills for both personal and charitable knitting. CIK also hosts an annual yarn sale, Christmas Charity Tea, Fall Knitting Retreat, Winter Knitting Retreat and Knit It Out of the Park (an outing to the Iowa Cubs). Plus, CIK offers various small-group Knit Togethers. Member benefits include the monthly programs, a subscription to our professionally produced monthly newsletter, early registration for events and free knitting-related classifieds in our newsletter.
